A key part of what we do as a church is provide opportunities to gather together, hear the Bible taught, praise God and seek His guidance for our lives, we do this through our main meetings:
Sunday 10.30am-noon (9.30am and 11.15am from April 23rd) at The Beacon is a lively, family friendly time of Bible teaching, and band-led praise and prayer. It is popular with all ages and especially younger families and students. An excellent Children’s Church with groups from babies through to school year 11 starts at around 10.45 (though children and young people are also welcome to stay in with the adults if they wish). Refreshments follow and first Sunday of the month everyone is welcome to stay for lunch provided by the church.
Sunday 4.00-5.00pm at Sandon Road is family friendly and great for those whose Sunday mornings are taken up with sport. Join our friendly group for Bible and discussion with separate Children’s Church activities for the kids. Term time only.
Sunday 6.30-7.30pm at Sandon Road is a more intimate, structured and reflective evening service to close the weekend and prepare for the week ahead. There is Bible teaching, a variety of forms of sung praise often using more classic hymns, and prayer. Refreshments follow the hour long service.
Every Fourth Sunday 10.45am – 12noon at Ox Leathers Pub is Pub Church. It really is church held in a pub. Recently launched this congregation meets right in the heart of the Highfields estate. Open to everyone either on Highfields or looking to support the community there.
Wednesdays 12.30-1pm at the Beacon is our Mid-week Connect aimed at those working on the Technology Park. A great opportunity to meet together, explore the Bible and pray all in the space of your lunch break.
Thursday from 6pm (for a meal) or 7.30pm (for the meeting) is our Chinese Church in Mandarin and English. It is open to everyone and popular with Chinese people from a wide area, including students.
